V/A "Dry Lungs IV" LP

$10.00

Subterranean Records

Fourth volume in the "Dry Lungs" series. Compiled by Paul Lemons of the New York band Controlled Bleeding, these comps contained industrial and experimental music that was hard to track down at the time and helped give them a wider platform. The first three volumes were released on Arizona based Placebo Records, but IV and V were released on Subterranean Records, which was the first US label to release an industrial record.

This volume was released in 1989 and contains Controlled Bleeding, Dissecting Table, Minus Delta T, Francis Gorgé & Hélène Sage, Un Drame Musical Instantané, The Gerogerigegege, Heinrich Mucken, Printed At Bismarck's Death, Robert Rich, and James Levine & Paul Lemons. As with all the Subterranean Records stuff in stock, these are unplayed copies and come in shrink wrap.

"The acclaimed industrial music series returns with easily its strongest volume yet. Compiled by Paul Lemos of Controlled Bleeding, this one includes contributions from Dissecting Table, Minus Delta T, Helene Sage and Francis Gorge, Un Drame Musical Instantane, the Gerogerigegege, Heinrich Mucken, Printed At Bismarck's Death, Robert Rich, James Levine, and Controlled Bleeding.
