Econochrist "Skewed" 7"

$4.00

Econochrist Records

"These four songs were recorded in May of 1993. Skewed was the first of three Econochrist records to be released on Ebullition and yet it was also the last record that Econochrist would ever record." -Ebullition Records

Echonochrost were originally located in Arkansas but relocated out to San Francisco where they quickly immersed themselves into the excellent political hardcore. Upon moving west, they were joined on bass by Mike Scott who's previously been in Christ On Parade and Teenage Warning (pre-Attitude Adjustment).

Musically, Econochrist had a sound that was terse and filled with anger and tension. It's rooted in early '80s hardcore bands such as Articles Of Faith, but builds on it in a way that is fast, but not thrash. Outspoken in their politics, Econochrist were a band that were championed by many at the time. A good 7" and recommended.
