Demo Tapes Records

The Disattack demo, recorded in the UK in 1985, has become a cult relic within the Discharge style. While somewhat dismissed at the time of its release for being a Discharge clone, it has since been championed by fans and gone on to be considered one of the purveyors of the Dis genre. As Sealed Records writes: "Six raw bursts of sonic bloodbath that will leave your ears bleeding in a ditch. The fear of doom dawning when the whole world will be bathed in Blood!"

Featuring Bill Steer on guitar prior to forming Carcass, as well as Middie from Distraught Records (who released Anti-Cimex's self-titled 12" in 1986) on vocals, this demo has been fully restored for the highest sound quality.

There is also Negative Insight magazine contribution to this release which includes two recent interviews (one with Middie and another with bassist Paul) reflecting on the history of the band, the influence of Discharge and how Disattack were perceived in their brief time together. They are part of a 28 page booklet which compiles a slew of unearthed photos, fanzine interviews, reviews, and more from the era. It is a high quality release, which we were humbled to be a small part of.
